Dog Chef's recommended daily kibble portions are calculated using a nutritional model developed in collaboration with our veterinarians.
Our goal is simple: to provide every dog with a feeding plan tailored to their individual needs. 🐾
When calculating the recommended daily kibble portion, we take several factors into account, including:
• your dog's sex;
• breed;
• age;
• activity level;
• neutered/spayed status;
• weight and body condition;
• any known allergies or medical conditions.
Based on this information, our system automatically calculates the recommended daily kibble portion for your dog.
Already a Dog Chef customer?
You can find your dog's current recommended daily kibble portion in the "My Subscription" section, next to your dog's profile.
If your dog's information is no longer up to date, simply click "Edit" next to your dog's name and update the relevant details (such as weight, activity level or age).
💡 Your recommended daily kibble portion will then be automatically recalculated based on the updated information.

💡 This feeding guide provides a general recommendation based on your dog's age and weight. Once you create a Dog Chef account, your dog's recommended daily portion will be calculated based on their complete profile.
