The daily ration is calculated on the basis of average figures from our vets' studies, but of course every dog is different.

So if your dog has lost weight, we suggest you to :

  • Reduce his daily portion by 10% (example: if his daily portion is 500 grams, go to 450 grams); to do this, go to your Dog Chef Account, go to the tab "My subscription", click on "Edit" next to the weight of your recipes, and then on " Change portion weight".

  • Contact our Dog Chef veterinarians if you would like an opinion on this weight gain: [email protected]

  • Check that your dog's profile is correct (weight, body condition, etc.) and, if necessary, update it. To do this, consult our FAQ "My dog's profile has changed. How do I update it?"

  • If your dog receives "extras" (leftover food, treats, etc.), reduce them slightly;

  • Keep an eye on your dog's progress and keep us informed!

  • Note: a little more walking will never hurt him ;)

Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
