Most dogs adapt quickly to their new food, but some may need a little more time to get used to a new flavour or texture 😊
💡 A few tips to help your dog get used to their new kibble
• Try a different recipe. Some dogs simply have a clear preference for certain flavours.
• Is your dog new to Dog Chef? Gradually mix the kibble with their current food to make the transition smoother.
• Consider a different feeding plan. For example, you can choose a mixed plan with fresh meals and kibble, or even switch to 100% fresh Dog Chef meals.
• Has your dog only sniffed the kibble without tasting it? Try offering the kibble as a reward during a training session. Many dogs find kibble more appealing when they have to earn it 😉
• Make the kibble more appealing. You can add a small amount of broth (preferably homemade) or mix it with a small portion of Dog Chef fresh meals.
