While most dogs digest their food much better when fed Dog Chef kibbles, some dogs may suffer from digestive problems for the following reasons:

Was the transition from his old food well done? We recommend that you gradually mix Dog Chef fresh food into your dog's regular food over a period of 7 days.

If your dog has a very sensitive digestive system, make the transition even slower: a small handful of Dog Chef kibbles and one more per day.

Some dogs, used to homemade mix or a BARF (bones and raw food) diet, do not digest kibble immediately. It takes time for their intestinal flora to adapt and for this to happen, a gentle and gradual dietary transition must be made.

We invite you to try changing the Dog Chef recipe (we offer two different ones), as some dogs may have an intolerance to a particular recipe.

If your dog suffers from symptoms such as blood in the stool, repeated vomiting, not wanting to eat anything else, lethargy or fever, it is important to consult your vet. In such cases, it is likely that there is another cause than the Dog Chef food.
